Attaching a Toolbar to a Windows Application

 

To attach a toolbar to a Windows Application, perform the following steps:

1. Select the Start Tab.

2. Drag the target with the left mouse button on to the caption of the application you want to install a toolbar and release.

3. The corresponding Application Caption, Application Name and Class Name are automatically displayed.

4. Click Attach Now. The toolbar is attached to the Windows application. If you are attaching a custom toolbar, then it is created according to the specifications in the Custom Toolbar option of the Default Tab. For more information, refer to Setting Up the Toolbar Properties .

 

You can also specify the following options in the Start Tab:

·      Start Minimized: Automatically minimizes the AIM Toolbar application the next time you start this application.

·      Hide When Minimized: Hides the Properties sheet from view when minimized.

·      Hide QuickStart Tab: Hides the QuickStart Tab.
